Mercenaries for Mythic dungeons and raids: up to 2 per party, ranks and prices, roles, loot for live players, records, FAQ.
Loot referenceItem atlasWhat drops whereOpen the atlasThe Mercenary Camp in the capital hires out famous fighters for Mythic dungeons and raids: when your party lacks one or two players, up to 2 mercenaries take the empty seats (at least 3 live players). The camp opens from the capital («Mercenaries» at the top of the screen) and from the Mythic window («⚔ Mercenaries»).

How to hire, step by step
- Gather a party of at least 3 and pick the roles in the Ready window: the mercenaries take the roles nobody in the party took.
- The leader opens the camp, chooses a rank and a mercenary of the missing role and presses «Hire» — or «Party chips in», then everyone presses «Chip in».
- When live players + mercenaries make 5, the leader presses «Enter as a party» in the Mythic window — as always, through the Ready window.
- The mercenary fights on his own until the run is completed. If roles do not match the empty seats, the entry tells you which role is missing.

Ranks
Any mercenary can be hired at any rank — the rank decides his gear and the price. The current price is always on the camp board.
| Rank | Gear item level | Price (default) |
|---|---|---|
| Veteran | 240 | 2,000 gold |
| Guardsman | 245 | 3,500 gold |
| Camp Legend | 250 | 5,000 gold |
What is the Mercenary Camp
The Mercenary Camp stands in the capital. Its famous fighters join your party when a Mythic run lacks one or two players.
A mercenary is a resident of the world with a name, a portrait, a class, a role and a temper. He fights on his own — the same thinking AI that fills parties in normal content, in the gear of his rank.
Where mercenaries can go
Only Mythic difficulty: Mythic dungeons and Mythic raids (party of 5).
Not allowed: Mythic+ keystones (live players only — it is a competitive mode), Normal and Heroic, arena, battlegrounds, tournaments.
How many and which roles
Up to 2 mercenaries per party, so at least 3 live players.
At most one of them may be a support role — a tank OR a healer. The second mercenary is always a damage dealer.
Ranks and prices
Veteran — gear item level 240, 2,000 gold
Guardsman — gear item level 245, 3,500 gold
Camp Legend — gear item level 250, 5,000 gold
The leader pays — or the party chips in: the leader opens a shared hire and everyone presses «Chip in». The mercenary joins once the full price is collected; if it is not collected in 30 minutes, the shares are returned.
The gold leaves the world (it does not go to any player). You can hire again right away, with no cooldown — for gold again.
How long a mercenary serves
One run: until the dungeon or raid is completed to the end, or until the party disbands.
A defeat does not release him — he stays until the end of the run. Leaving and re-entering does not refund the gold. The leader can dismiss a mercenary at any time (no refund).
How strong mercenaries are
As strong as an average player of his tier: he is a resident AI, not a perfect player. A good live player is stronger — a mercenary covers a gap, he does not carry the party.
A mercenary tank holds the boss, a mercenary healer heals; mechanics are still on you.
Loot
A mercenary gets nothing. In Mythic every live player rolls his own personal loot for a boss — and the roll of each mercenary seat goes to a random live player who has not received an item from this boss yet. So with a mercenary the live players get the same or a little more.
The weekly Mythic loot limits are the same as always — per live player. Wave loot is shared among live players only.
Records and rankings
A run with a mercenary does not go into records, rankings, first kills or the progress race. Loot, quests and daily tasks count as usual.
