The Underhall: roles, wards and role points
What the tank, healer and damage do in the Underhall, who the trial wards are, how role points and medals work, the badge by your name.
Tank
Trial wards fight beside you: they strike enemies and pull aggro. Keep the enemies on you — taunt, damage, shields. If more than one ward falls, or you fall, the trial fails.
Healer
The guard holds the enemies and the fighter strikes — your job is to keep them standing: healing, shields, cleansing rot. If more than one ward falls, or you fall, the trial fails.
Damage
No wards — just you against the wave: against the clock, the main target, survive and strike, the wounded beast.
Wards are not residents or companions
Formal companions of the trial itself: a short 6-card deck and their class power; they act on their own. You cannot call, gear or take them on runs.
Role points and medals
Each fight scores up to 100 points for the role’s task (victory, wards alive, your Health, speed). Silver — 70+, gold — 90+. The run medal is the average of combat rooms minus 8 per snuffed stub.
Badge and Trial Appearance
- A Gold Descent in a role from depth 4 — the “proven tank / healer / damage” badge by your name in group finder, and a title. A badge only, not a gate.
- Gold from depth 7 — the Trial Appearance for your class and role. Earned only.
