Dungeon experience: up to which level
Why a Dungeon can give “+0 XP”: a location gives experience until it turns grey for your hero. The level up to which every Dungeon gives experience.
A Dungeon gives experience while it suits your level. Just like enemies in the open world, the location has a colour for your hero, judged by the top of its level range (Enemy colour):
- your level is at or below the top of the range — full experience;
- you are above it — less experience, and the further above, the less;
- the location has turned grey for you — no experience at all.
Money, items, enemy materials, recipe scrolls and rare materials don’t depend on your level: they follow the usual rules, including the repeat-clear window (100% → 50% → 0%), which applies to experience as well.
Example: The Fiery Maw (levels 10–15) gives full experience up to level 15, less at 16–23, and none from level 24.
Where the game shows it
- In the dungeon list an outleveled location has a grey name and a “no XP” tag.
- On the Dungeon screen, before you enter: “You’ve outleveled this dungeon: no XP (it gives XP up to level N)”, or “XP reduced to X%” while it is only partly outleveled. The reward-window line says “gold” instead of “rewards” when there is no experience.
- In the run summary — the reason instead of a bare “+0”; in a group — in the result message.
Up to which level each Dungeon gives experience
