Heroic raids and world bosses

Heroic mode is the same raid challenge, only twice as hard and with a better reward. All 6 raids and the world bosses have it; dungeons have a single mode.

How to turn it on

The raid or world boss screen has a “🛡 Normal · ⚜ Heroic” switch. Whoever queues the party picks the mode; in a group that’s the leader, and every member sees the mode in the “Ready” window before answering. You get in the usual ways: the queue, as a group or “⚑ Enter as the party”.

What changes

• Every enemy — guards, bosses and the minions they summon — gets the Heroic Might effect: Health and damage ×2 compared to normal mode for the same party.
• Might is the same for any party and can’t be cleansed.
• Normal-mode strength already grows with the number of live players in the fight — heroic goes on top of it.

Reward

• Epic items from bosses in heroic mode are Item Level 232 (226 in normal), with stats to match. You can see this in advance: on the entry screen and in the “Loot” window with heroic mode selected.
• Everything else is as in normal mode: legendaries, scrolls, rare materials and enemy materials.

Recommended item level

The entry screen says: “Recommended item level 232 · your party N”. The party average counts every fighter — live players and world residents; heirloom items aren’t included. It’s only advice: it doesn’t change enemy strength. In normal mode the recommendation is 220. How Item Level works: Comparing items and item level.

Loot — once a day for both modes

Normal and heroic modes of the same raid (or world boss) share one loot window: one looting run a day there, whichever mode it’s in. That run gives everything — items, materials, scrolls, experience and money; a second one the same day is helping friends with no loot. More in Repeat clears.

FAQ

Can I clear heroic with world residents?

You can go in, but it’s a challenge for the strongest groups of live players: the enemies are twice as strong as in normal mode for the same party.

Is heroic worth it if I already did normal today?

There will be no loot, experience or money: a raid has one loot window for both modes. You can still go in to help friends; you then take no part in the loot roll.
