Tier 1 — Regalia and the Forge
Tier 1 class sets (item level 232): regalia from heroic raids and world bosses, the Regalia Forge, Forge Shards and bonuses for 2/4/6/8 pieces.
Every set, piece and regalia drop with its chance is in the Item atlas: Forge Regalia · Tier 1.
What a tier is
A tier is your class’s armour set. Each of the ten classes has its own eight-piece set — full armour from head to toe: helm, shoulders, chest, bracers, gloves, belt, legs and boots. The pieces are epic, item level 232 — the strongest heroic gear.
| Class | Set |
|---|---|
| Barbarian | Bulwark of the Unbreachable Wall |
| Lightbringer | Raiment of the Last Lighthouse |
| Ranger | Gear of the Silent Trail |
| Rogue | Shroud of the Moonless Alley |
| Priest | Vestments of the Silent Litany |
| Revenant | Plate of the Grave Winter |
| Stormbringer | Raiment of the Storm-Speaker |
| Mage | Mantle of the Starry Vault |
| Warlock | Garb of the Sworn Pact |
| Druid | Mantle of the Living Grove |
A set piece can only be worn by its own class. The pieces are personal: they can’t be sold at the auction, mailed or put into the guild bank. You can disenchant them or sell them to a vendor, like any item level 232 epic.
Set bonuses: 2 · 4 · 6 · 8
The more set pieces you wear, the stronger the set: bonuses unlock at 2, 4, 6 and 8 pieces and stack. With 8 pieces all four work — the peak of the set: a new card, a new combo or a change to the tree’s mechanic.
One set — three bonus sets. The bonuses follow the talent tree you’re playing right now (the same one that picks your class power). Switch trees between fights and the new tree’s bonuses work from the next fight. The item tooltip shows all three trees: yours is highlighted, unlocked steps are green.
Set bonuses don’t work in PvP — not in the arena, on battlegrounds or in duels. The item stats (Health, Power, Hardiness) work everywhere.
Regalia
Tier pieces don’t drop from bosses directly. Bosses drop regalia — sealed armour blanks. Regalia come in three groups, each for three or four classes:
| Regalia | For classes |
|---|---|
| Regalia of Dawn | Lightbringer, Priest, Warlock |
| Regalia of the Storm | Barbarian, Ranger, Stormbringer |
| Regalia of Dusk | Rogue, Revenant, Mage, Druid |
Each group has 8 regalia — one per armour slot. For example, a Barbarian reforges the “Sealed Breastplate of the Storm” into the “Breastplate of the Unbreachable Wall”, and a Ranger into the “Hauberk of the Silent Trail”.
Where regalia drop
Only on heroic difficulty — in heroic raids and from heroic world bosses. There are no regalia on normal.
- Each heroic boss drops at most one regalia per group.
- Chance: a regular raid boss — 12%, the final boss — 20%, a world boss — 15%.
- Each boss has its own regalia slots. Final bosses drop the “big” slots — helm, chest, legs.
- Who gets it: the regalia group follows a random seat of the party (all five seats are equally likely; a resident is a seat too — then the regalia goes to the resident). Live players of that group who don’t have that slot yet roll a fair d100. If everyone has the slot, someone from the group gets it as a spare.
- The “loot once a day” rule applies: regalia and shards only on your first run of the day to that place. Repeat runs are helping friends, with no loot.
Where exactly everything drops — in the Item atlas (each raid’s page, “Heroic” mode) and in the raid’s loot window.
The Regalia Forge and Halvard the Unseeing
Regalia are reforged by Halvard the Unseeing, Keeper of the Regalia Forge — an ancient smith who forged the regalia of past heroes. He is blind but sees a hero’s path by an inner fire, so he forges to the measure of the path, not of the body.
Where to find him: the “Regalia Forge” menu item (the side menu on PC, “More” on phones), and the “To the Forge” button in the window of a dropped regalia.
How to reforge:
- Open the Forge — your regalia are on the left (suitable ones highlighted, others dimmed with a “for: …” note).
- Pick a regalia — it goes onto the anvil; the runes of the slots you’ve already forged light up around it.
- On the right — the piece your class will get, its look, each tree’s bonuses and which bonus will unlock.
- Press “Reforge” and confirm. The piece appears in your bag (if the bag is full, it comes by mail, and the letter doesn’t expire). Put it on in the Character sheet.
Forge Shards
Protection from bad luck:
- +1 shard for every heroic boss (on your first run of the day) if its regalia went to someone else;
- +20 shards — reforge a spare regalia (you already have that slot);
- 150 shards — Halvard forges a regalia of any slot of your group you don’t have yet.
A spare regalia
If you got a regalia for a slot you already have:
- pass it to a member of this run from your group who doesn’t have that slot — within 2 hours after the fight (a button in the Forge);
- or reforge it into 20 shards.
A regalia can’t be sold, disenchanted or mailed.
In short
- 10 classes — 10 sets of 8 pieces, item level 232.
- Regalia — heroic only: 12% / 20% (final) / 15% (world boss), one per group.
- Halvard at the Regalia Forge reforges a regalia into your class piece.
- 150 Forge Shards — a regalia of any slot of your group.
- Set bonuses at 2/4/6/8 follow your talent tree; they don’t work in PvP.
