FAQ: loot

Where does linen drop?

Linen Cloth drops from humanoids: in the open world at 45% per fight (1 piece from enemies up to level 20, 2 from 21–40, 3 from 41), and in dungeons for everyone after every fight against humanoids and worgen up to level 24 (above that it's Silk Cloth and Runecloth). It can't be crafted or bought. More in Where to get linen.

Where do I get epic items?

  • In the world — from elites and land bosses from level 20; a land-boss quest gives an epic with a 35% chance.
  • In dungeons — from bosses: dungeons of level 30 and up drop rare and epic items, and from level 55 at least one epic is guaranteed.
  • In raids and from world bosses — only epic and above.

Who drops what — Boss loot.

Where do legendary items drop?

From final raid bosses on a separate 0.8% roll, and from land bosses from level 30 at 0.4%. The list — Legendary items.

How is loot shared in a group?

Every item is rolled for: you have 30 seconds to choose Need or Greed when you play with world residents, and 45 in a group of live players; a d100 roll decides the winner, and Need beats Greed. Everyone gets the full experience and money for a dungeon. Enemy materials, scrolls and rare boss materials aren't rolled for — everyone gets their own. More in Loot rolls.
