FAQ: the game and your account

Is Zarhold free?

Yes. You can sign up and play in your browser for free, with nothing to download. What the game is about — What is Zarhold.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes: the game runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. One account works on every device, and your progress is stored on the server. How to pin the game to your home screen is on Play on your phone; controls are covered in Playing on a phone.

How do I sign up?

With an email and a password of at least 8 characters: a 6-digit code arrives by email and is valid for 15 minutes. You can also sign in with a Google account.

How many heroes can I create?

Up to 10 per account. A deleted hero can be restored within 30 days. More in Creating a hero.

Can I change my class or race?

Not in the game: race, class, name and gender are chosen when you create your hero. Talents, on the other hand, can be reset for free.

What's the level cap?

Level 60. It takes 1,335,900 experience in total, and there's no rested experience. How to get there faster — How to level up fast.

FAQ: things to do

Are there daily quests?

Land quests are one-time — there are 312 of them and none are daily. Daily, weekly and monthly tasks come with the Battle Pass: 3 worth 40 points a day, 6 worth 130 a week and 3 worth 1,000 a month. More in Battle Pass tasks.

What level do I need for the arena?

Level 1. The modes are 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5 and the Battleground; heroes of levels 1–59 and level 60 fight on separate ladders. More in Arena.

When do dungeons unlock?

The first one at level 10. Dungeons are for three, raids and world bosses for five; empty slots are filled by world residents of the right role. More in How dungeons work.

How do I join a guild?

Find a guild in the search and apply, or accept an invitation. You can also found your own for free at any level. The guild list is on Guilds, the rules in Guilds.

Can I play with friends?

Yes: form a party of up to 5 heroes and take on dungeons or the arena together. There's no limit on friends. More in Party and Friends and chat.

What happens if I lose a fight?

You keep your experience, money and level. After losing a fight against creatures, every item you're wearing loses 1 durability, and at zero an item stops giving stats until it's repaired. More in Durability and repairs.
