What is Zarhold: a card MMO-RPG in your browser

Zarhold is a card MMO-RPG in your browser: 10 classes, 11 races, 26 lands, dungeons and raids, arena and duels, 12 professions. No download.

Zarhold is an MMO-RPG where every fight is a card duel. You create a hero, level them to 60 in a shared world, run dungeons and raids with other players, fight in the arena and trade on the Auction House. You play right in your browser — on a computer, tablet or phone.

Combat is a deck of cards

Instead of an ability bar, your hero has a hand of cards.

  • You start a fight with 6 cards and draw one more every turn after that.
  • Cards cost crystals: 1 on your first turn, then one more each turn, up to 10. Whatever you don't spend is lost.
  • Once per turn you can use your Class Power for 1 crystal. There's a racial ability too.

Your deck is your class's cards plus the cards from your talents. The details are in How combat works.

Your hero: class, race and talents

  • 10 classes — tanks, healers and damage dealers, each with its own deck, resource and armour. See How to choose a class.
  • 11 races in three factions, each with a permanent bonus and two abilities. See Factions and races.
  • Talents unlock at level 10 and change your deck and Class Power. Resets are free — see How talents work.
