Pouch: room for materials and consumables
What goes into the pouch, why one slot is one kind of item, how to expand the pouch from 50 to 150 slots and what happens when it is full.
The Pouch is a space separate from your bag for stacks: materials, consumables, gadgets and recipe scrolls. Every hero has their own: the Pouch tab next to the Bag tab — in the Bag window (the B key) and on the Character sheet (the C key).
A slot is a kind of item
- One slot holds one kind of item, however many pieces are in the stack.
- A stack that is already there can always grow, even when there are no free slots.
- The "used / total" counter shows how many kinds you are carrying.
- Materials in the pouch are never touched by "Sell junk" — you can't sell them by accident.
How many slots
| Step | Slots |
|---|---|
| From the start | 50 |
| 1st | 75 |
| 2nd | 100 |
| 3rd | 125 |
| 4th | 150 — the limit |
The first step (50 → 75) can be bought for 25 gold right in the game — the "+ Expand" button next to the counter; gold buys only this step, and only once. The expansion takes effect immediately and only for the hero who bought it. Once the pouch reaches 150, the button is replaced by "Limit 150".
When there is no room
A new kind of item with no free slot — from loot, crafting, gathering, a purchase from the merchant or the auction house, or an auction return — arrives by mail as "Did not fit in the pouch". Nothing is lost and the letter never expires: free a slot and collect the stack from your mail.
Giving to others
Pouch stacks can be sent by mail, traded or put into the guild bank — except personal items.
FAQ
How is the pouch different from the bag?
The bag holds items — gear and the like — while the pouch holds stacks. They have separate space: a full bag doesn't affect the pouch, and vice versa.
Is the expansion shared by all my heroes?
No, every hero has their own pouch and their own expansion.
