Collection and appearance auto-rotation — boards, card backs, frames, outfits

The Collection: try items on your own look, ♥ and ★ for auto-rotation, outfits, chat decorations. Your look changes the way you set it. No power.

What it is

The Collection holds your hero’s whole look: battle boards, card backs, portrait frames and avatars, pets, chat adornments and mounts. Appearance gives no power — it is looks only. Open it with “Collection” on the title screen or in the game menu.

Ribbons on top are the sections: Outfits · Battle boards · Card backs · Frames · Avatars · Pets · Chat adornments · Stable (shorter names on a phone). On the left is the showcase: the selected item is shown on your own look — the board behind, your portrait in its frame, your pet, card backs fanned out. On the right is the shelf of tiles in pages: turn them with the arrows, the ← → keys or a swipe. Filters above the shelf: All · Mine · Locked. Hover a tile with the mouse (PC) or tap it (phone) — the showcase tries it on.

Every locked item says where it comes from. Living battle boards are marked “● Live” — they move in the showcase.

Try on in battle

A locked battle board has a “Try it on in battle” button: your next fight in the world or in a dungeon is played on that board. Once a day, only you see it; at the start of the fight a caption “Try-on of the day” shows the board’s name and where it comes from for a few seconds. There is no try-on in PvP, in tournaments or in training.

Appearance auto-rotation

Your look can change by itself — from what you marked:

  • ♥ on a tile puts the item into the auto-rotation pool; tap again — ★: it comes up twice as often; once more — remove it. The button under the showcase does the same.
  • Each kind has its own switch and frequency: every battle, every login (at most once per 30 minutes) or once a day (a new day starts at 03:00 Moscow time).
  • Switching goes like a deck: in one round every item comes up equally (★ twice), and the same item never comes up twice in a row.
  • “Swap now” — the next item at once (a board or card back — in your next fight). “Pool & frequency” — the whole pool: rarest · legendary only · all mine · clear.

On from the start: battle boards and card backs — every battle; frames and pet — every login; Chambers style — once a day. Avatars are off (some avatars are portraits of other classes). Your pool starts with your rarest items — legendary ones; if there are fewer than two, epic ones are added, and so on. The first time, the game shows a “New: appearance auto-rotation” window: “Great”, “Set up” or “Keep it as it was” — until you answer, nothing changes.

Who sees what. Only you see your battle board and card back: the fight picks them once per fight (come back to the same fight — same board). Others see your frame, avatar and pet: what comes up is equipped like a normal choice, and your opponent, your group and “Who is in Zarhold” see it. Mounts never switch by themselves: each has its own travel speed.

Fine-tuning

The “Auto-rotation” button at the top of the Collection and Settings → “Appearance” show all kinds at once:

  • Appearance auto-rotation — the main switch: turn it off and what you wear now stays; your ♥ marks and outfits are kept.
  • Pools per mode — separate boards for the arena, for dungeons and for the world (Collection → Battle boards → “Pool for”).
  • Board matches the land — in the world, a board in tune with the land (snow, desert, forest, fire…) if your pool has one.
  • Try-on of the day — once a day, one fight in the world or a dungeon on a board you do not own yet, with a caption. Turn it off here.
  • Same for all heroes — these settings for all your heroes: each hero has their own look.

Outfits

An outfit is a whole combination: board, card back, frame, avatar and pet. “Outfits” ribbon → “Save the current look” — and it is an outfit (up to 12). An outfit has “Wear outfit”, ♥ / ★, “Update” (store what you wear now), “Name” and “Delete”. Turn on “Rotate whole outfits” — whole combinations will rotate instead of single items.

Chat adornments

The “Chat adornments” ribbon: a name seal, a scroll around your messages and a living name (a shine runs over your name when your message arrives). The showcase shows a chat line the way others will see it — you can try on locked ones too. Your own are set with “Set”. Below is “Other players’ adornments”: show, seals only or hide — the choice is kept on this device.

Room style

In your own Chambers → “Room style”: ♥ on your styles — the style changes once a day when you enter your own Chambers (visitors see the style that came up); ★ — more often. More in Hero Chambers.
