Equipment sets: change gear with one click
How to save up to three equipment sets and change gear with one press — for example, from your dungeon gear into PvP gear for the arena.
An equipment set is a saved selection of the items you are wearing. Save your current gear under a name of your choice and change into it with one press — for example, from your dungeon gear into PvP gear with Resilience for the arena.
Where to find it
Character sheet (the C key), the Equipment panel, top-right corner: the set icons and the "Save set" button ("+" for the second and third). The "?" icon next to them opens a short tip.
How to save a set
- Put on the items you want.
- Press "Save set".
- Enter a name — up to 24 characters — and choose an icon from the items you are wearing.
Each hero can have up to three sets. If an item doesn't make it into the set — for example, because a two-handed weapon blocks it — the game tells you which and why.
How to change gear
Press a set's icon to open its card with Equip, Update (save what you are wearing now into the set), Rename and Remove.
When you press Equip:
- extra items go into your bag and the saved ones are put on;
- if an item is gone — sold, given away, on the auction house, in the mail — or can't be worn because of level or class, the rest is put on and the game tells you honestly what was missing; that slot keeps what you are wearing now;
- if there isn't enough bag space for the items you take off, nothing changes — the game tells you how many slots to free.
Removing a set doesn't touch your items: only the set itself is deleted.
When you can't
During a fight and while queued — for a dungeon, the arena or a battleground — the Equip button is inactive and explains why. Between fights inside a dungeon you can change.
Tip
Keep one set for quests and dungeons and another of PvP items for the arena and duels. Where to get them — Arena Points and Honor.
