Arena Points and Honor: how to earn and spend them
How many Arena Points and how much Honor a win gives, the weekly caps of 1,000 and 5,000, the ×1.5 catch-up bonus and what to buy in the PvP shop.
PvP has two currencies: Arena Points for arena wins and Honor for battleground wins. Both are spent in the PvP shop on the same gear. A loss gives no currency.
What a win pays
| Fight | Reward for a win |
|---|---|
| 1v1 arena | 10 Arena Points, plus up to 10 more if the opponent is stronger |
| 2v2 arena | 20 Arena Points |
| 3v3 arena | 30 Arena Points |
| 5v5 arena | 50 Arena Points |
| Battleground | 150 Honor |
In 1v1 the bonus is +1 point for every 100 rating your opponent has above you, up to +10. A 1v1 win also has a 1% chance to drop a bonus PvP item of your level straight into your bag — at most 10 such items a week.
Weekly cap
- Up to 1,000 Arena Points and 5,000 Honor a week.
- The week starts on Monday at 03:00 Moscow time.
- The cap only applies to currency: you can keep playing, and your rating keeps changing.
Catch-up bonus
If your PvP gear is below the average of this season's players — or you have no PvP gear at all — your weekly cap is 1.5 times higher: 1,500 Arena Points and 7,500 Honor. This is decided once a week, on your first arena visit or first fight of the week. All your PvP items count — equipped, in your bag and on the auction house.
PvP shop
The PvP Shop tab in the arena, with a switch between "For Arena Points" and "For Honor".
- Items are rare and epic: armour, accessories and weapons.
- Tiers by level: 1, 5, 10 and then every 5 up to 60. You can buy any tier up to your level; the next ones are visible 5 levels ahead. Next-tier epics (Item Level 213) are shown to level 60 heroes but aren’t available yet; pieces bought earlier stay with their owners.
- Prices in Honor are 5 times higher than in Arena Points.
- PvP items have more Health (×1.4 compared with a regular item), slightly less Power (×0.85) and add Resilience — protection against damage from other players.
Prices for every tier and slot are in the PvP shop reference.
FAQ
Do Arena Points and Honor expire at the end of a season?
No. A new season only resets rating; currency stays — see Arena seasons.
Does Resilience work against monsters?
No, only against other players. In PvE you are protected by Hardiness — see Stats.
