Shared Chest: storage for every hero on your account

The Shared Chest is the fourth tab of Storage (next to Bag, Hero Bank and Pouch). There is one for your whole account: whatever one hero puts in, any other hero sees and can take. The Hero Bank is per hero, the chest is shared.

How much room

• 20 slots for every account from the start.
• One slot holds one item or one stack of up to 20, like everywhere in the game.
• The chest can be expanded: every expansion adds +50 slots to the whole account at once, for all heroes, forever. Up to 20 expansions — 1020 slots.

What can go in

Anything that may move between your own heroes:

• materials, consumables, gadgets and recipe scrolls (as stacks from the pouch);
• bags, white and grey items, junk;
• crafted items that haven't been equipped yet ("becomes personal when equipped");
• heirloom and turquoise account items.

Not allowed: personal items (gear of green quality and above stays with its hero), "self only" items, named rewards, quest items, equipped items and items on the auction. The item's menu tells you why it can't go in.

Moving items

• Drag an item or a stack onto the chest — the right side of the tab has a Bag · Pouch · Hero Bank switch.
• Or tap an item → "To shared chest" (the easiest way on a phone).
• To take something, tap it in the chest → "Take to bag" or "Take to hero bank"; for a stack — "Take to pouch" (all or some).
• "Store materials" moves every material from the pouch with one button; you can keep 20 of each.

No fees and no withdrawal limits. The chest opens from Storage anywhere except in combat.

Filters and comparison

Tabs "All · Reagents · Items · Consumables · Recipes", search by name, type and slot, quality, "Can equip now" and "Better than equipped" — for the hero you're playing right now. The ▲/▼ arrow on the icon and the "Equipped" card compare the item with what this hero wears. The "⇅" order — as stored, same items together, by quality, item level, slot, price, newest first.

Log

The "Log" button shows which hero put in or took out what (the last 100 entries).

Crafting from the chest

From the second expansion any of your heroes can craft taking missing materials straight from the chest: the recipe window shows how many are in the chest and how many it will take.

FAQ

How is the chest different from the Hero Bank?

The Hero Bank is per hero and only that hero sees it. The Shared Chest is one for all heroes on the account: that's how items and materials reach an alt without mail.

Can I store dungeon loot for another hero to wear?

Not if it's personal (gear of green quality and above). Crafted items that haven't been equipped yet — yes.
