Disconnected: 5 minutes to come back
Lost connection or closed the browser? For 5 minutes your run, group spot, 1v1 arena fight and duel wait for you — no progress is lost.
Your internet blinked, the browser closed, your phone restarted — your progress isn’t lost. You have 5 minutes to come back, and the game takes you right back where you were.
What waits 5 minutes
| Where | What happens |
|---|---|
| A dungeon or raid run | continues from the same place; your loot is safe, and the fight that was going on when you dropped starts over |
| A group fight — dungeons, raids, team arena, Battleground | your spot is held: teammates see “offline” and how long they’ll still wait, and the team isn’t given a loss |
| 1v1 arena | the fight continues from the same turn — on the same device or another; no loss for the disconnect |
| A duel | your opponent waits for you to return |
The server counts the 5 minutes from your game’s last signal; your device’s clock doesn’t matter.
How to come back
Just open the game again. If the window closed because of a crash or the page reloaded on its own, the game puts you straight back in the world with the same hero — even in a new window — and your run continues where you left off.
If you’re too late
After 5 minutes your spot is no longer held, and the usual rules apply: an unfinished arena fight or duel counts as a loss. Starting a new arena fight on top of an unfinished one is also a loss in the old one.
FAQ
Can I come back on another device?
Yes: your progress is stored on the server. Log in the same way on another device within 5 minutes. You can’t play on two devices at once — more in Playing on phone and tablet.
I came back to the dungeon and the fight started over
That’s by design: the fight that was going on when you dropped starts over, but everything before it — bosses beaten and loot — is still there.
