Invite a Friend: rewards, the ladder and Bonds of Brotherhood

How to invite a friend to Zarhold: when a friend counts (level 20 and 5 days of play), protection against cheating and farms, rewards and Bonds of Brotherhood.

Invite a Friend is one programme for every platform: the website and browser game (ru.zarhold.com and zarhold.com), VK Play, Yandex Games and Steam. Bring a friend — they get the Sworn Brother frame at once, you get Patron Marks and ladder rewards, and in group runs you both get +20% experience. A short visual overview is on the Invite a Friend page.

How to invite

  1. Take your code or link: in the game — More → Invite a friend → Invite; on the website — in your account.
  2. Your friend opens the link and creates an account — or enters your code within their first 7 days of play: More → Invite a friend.
  3. Your friend plays. Once they reach the threshold (below), the count arrives by itself, with a letter to both of you.

The code is 6 characters: Latin letters and digits, with no look-alikes (no 0, O, 1, I or L). Case and spaces don’t matter.

When a friend counts

A count isn’t “” — it’s “”. Both are needed:

  • Level 20 — any hero on your friend’s account has reached level 20.
  • At least 5 different days of play, with any hero. A day counts when a hero enters the world; a new day starts at 00:00 UTC (server time).

Logging in and out won’t count. Levelling up in a single evening won’t either: the days are needed too. A guest login doesn’t count until your friend sets up a permanent login.

Until then you get no marks and no ladder tier; Bonds of Brotherhood work as soon as the code is linked. Once your friend reaches the threshold, we count them automatically within 10 minutes (or at once when you open the Invite a Friend window), and you get a letter. What each friend still needs — for example "level 14 of 20 · days 3 of 5" — is shown in the game (More → Invite a friend → Friends) and in your account.

Friend codes: who and when

  • A code can only be linked to a new account: within the first 7 days, with no heroes above level 10 and no purchases.
  • A friend has one inviter, forever — it can’t be changed later.
  • You can’t invite yourself — your own code won’t be accepted. And you can’t invite back: if you joined on a player’s invitation, you can’t invite that player.

What you get

  • 50 more marks when your friend reaches level 60 — Made It Together.
  • A step up the reward ladder — see below.
  • The title “Herald of Zarhold” at tier “10” — for all your heroes.
  • The Herald badge — a golden horn by your name; its tooltip shows how many friends play on your invitation. On Yandex Games and Steam there are no name badges.

Reward ladder

Tiers are at 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50 counted friends. Each offers one reward of three: a look, a service or bags. Nothing repeats. Choose in the game (More → Invite a friend → Rewards) or in your website account.

Bags and hero services go to a hero: in the game — the one you’re playing, on the website — the one you choose. A hero slot and looks go to your account; looks land in the Collection.

Bonds of Brotherhood

You and your friend in one group run — dungeon, raid, world boss — each get +20% experience for the run and its bosses while your friend has no level 60 hero. The Bonds last while your friend is working towards the threshold or has counted; while the count is under review, after a refusal or a revoked count there are no Bonds. Solo fights in the world don’t give Bonds — only group runs. Loot and gold don’t increase. How to form a group — Group.

Patron Marks and the shop

Marks are spent in the Patron Shop — in the game: More → Invite a friend → Shop. Looks, services and bags only — no power. Marks can’t be transferred or exchanged for gold.

Fair play: protection against cheating and farms

Rewards are for real friends, so counting is protected:

  • New accounts only. An old account or one with purchases can’t be linked to someone’s code.
  • One device, address or network. If your device (the game on one computer or phone), internet address or network matches your friend’s, the count doesn’t arrive by itself — it waits for a Game Master (“”). We keep only fingerprints (hashes): the address itself can’t be recovered from them.
  • More than 10 counts in a calendar month — every one after that is reviewed too. A Game Master can lift the limit for streamers and creators.
  • No Bonds while under review. If approved, marks, the tier and your friend’s satchel arrive as usual; if refused, the friend doesn’t count. You both get a letter with the reason.
  • A second account, a farm or cheating get the count refused — or revoked if the abuse comes to light later: the marks for that friend are taken back, a claimed tier is not granted twice, and the Bonds end.
  • Rewards are in-game only: looks, titles, services, bags and marks. No gold, power or money for invitations.

Invite a Friend FAQ

My friend logged in and out — will they count?

No. Both are needed: a level 20 hero and at least 5 different days of play. One login is one day.

Can I invite my own second account?

No. A second account of the same player isn’t a friend. A matching device, address or network sends the count to a Game Master for review, and such a pair won’t be counted. If the abuse comes to light later, the count is revoked.

Why is my friend “”?

Your device, address or network matched — that happens if you play from one home, dorm or café, or through the same mobile carrier. Or you already have 10 friends counted this month. It isn’t a penalty: a Game Master looks at how your friend plays and decides. You both get a letter with the reason, then another with the decision. While under review there are no Bonds.

What happens if I cheat?

The count is refused or revoked. The marks for that friend are taken back — even ones already spent: your mark balance goes negative, and new marks cover it first. A claimed ladder tier is not granted a second time, and the Bonds of Brotherhood end. The letter says why.

When does the reward arrive?

By itself — within 10 minutes of your friend reaching the threshold, or at once when you open the Invite a Friend window. You get a letter, and you choose the tier reward yourself — in the game or in your account; it never expires.

My friend plays as a guest — will they count?

Only once they set up a permanent login. Until then they show in your friends list marked “”.
