The Order Desk is where you ask another player to craft what you cannot — or buy what is not on the auction. The game holds everything of value, not the players, so nobody can cheat anybody.

  • 📜 Order what is missing — Need gear, potions or ore, and nobody to craft it or the auction is empty? Place an order — crafters will see it.
  • 🔒 Everything is locked by the game — The reward and your reagents are locked. The game crafts the item and mails it to you. Cancel any time — everything comes back. The 1% deposit burns only if nothing was done.
  • ⚒ Crafters earn gold and skill — “Orders for me” — orders matching your recipes. One press of “Craft” — the reward goes to your purse and your skill grows as usual.
  • ⚖ Fair limits — Orders: 10 per hero. Prices and rewards stay within sensible bounds, crafter limits are shared. Details — “? How it works”.

Where to find the Order Desk — five doors, one window

  1. Capital — the Crafters’ Counting House next to the Market Row (a medallion on the square and a tile inside the Market Row).
  2. “More” → “World & Market” — the Order Desk tile right after the Auction (on PC and phone). It never takes a spot on the bottom bar.
  3. Professions — the Order Desk button at the top opens “Orders for me”; a recipe you cannot craft yourself has “Order from a crafter”.
  4. Auction — when the search finds nothing: “Not on the auction? Place an order on the Desk”.
  5. Zarhold Companion — the Orders section: browse, place, cancel, hand in resources and craft orders without opening the game.

A red number on the tile, on “More” and on the Professions button counts new personal orders for you, new public orders matching your recipes (if you turned that on) and your fulfilled orders.

What the Order Desk is

Here you can ask another player to craft what you cannot, or buy what is not on the auction.

The game holds everything of value, not the players: the reward and reagents are locked, and the game itself crafts the item. Nobody can cheat anybody.

How to order — 4 steps

  1. “Place” → “Item” (gear, potions, enchant scrolls, bars…) or “Resources” (“buying 200 leather at 35s”).
  1. Set the reward, duration and who it is for: “Everyone” (any crafter with the recipe), “Crafter” (a personal order to one) or “Guild”.
  1. Each reagent has a switch: “I provide / crafter provides”. What you provide is taken from your pouch. The reward and a 1% deposit are locked in.
  1. A crafter presses “Craft” — the item arrives in your mail. Desk letters never expire, and a full bag is no problem.

How to fulfil orders — and earn

“Orders for me” lists orders matching your recipes and skill. Tick “can craft now” to see only what you have everything for.

Press “Craft” — the game crafts the item from the locked reagents and sends it to the customer. The reward goes straight to your purse; the Desk’s 5% fee is burned.

No reservations: an order stays open until somebody crafts it. Your skill grows as with normal crafting — orders are an honest way to level a profession.

Resources are handed in in parts: bring 40 of 200 and get paid for 40 right away.

Cancelling, duration and refunds

Until an order is fulfilled you can cancel it at any time: the unspent reward and reagents come back by mail at once.

Items run for 1, 2, 3 days, resources for 1, 3, 7. One reminder 3 h before the end. When it expires, everything unspent comes back on its own.

The deposit burns only if nothing was done (cancelled or expired). If a crafter declines your personal order, everything comes back — deposit included.

Fulfilled and expired orders have “Repeat” — the same order in one click.

Limits — no spam, no scams

Placing and fulfilling — from level 20. Open orders: 10 per hero, 20 per account, 3 personal orders to one crafter.

A stack of crafted goods — up to 100, resources — up to 1000. Hand-ins — up to 2000 a day (accounts younger than 3 days — 200).

The crafting fee has a cap: consumable — 5g each, blue — 50g, epic — 200g, raid epic 226 — 500g. A resource price is no lower than the vendor price and half the usual market price, and no higher than three usual prices.

A crafter’s profession limits (daily cooldowns, item-level 245 days, gem cutting) are shared: crafting for yourself or for an order is the same. The Desk does not bypass them.

What is not on the Desk — and why

Socketing a gem or enchanting “my item” — no: order the gem, enchant scroll or whetstone and apply it yourself. You never hand your item to a crafter.

Soulbound, bound, “under review”, quest, equipped items, Underside items, gold and anything from the shop cannot be ordered or handed in.

First Forge legendaries — their reagents are soulbound. A legendary gem crafted to order binds to the customer at once.

Example

Shyrok wants 60 healing potions. He places an order for “Everyone” at 2g each and provides the herbs himself. 120g and a 1g 20s deposit are locked.

Alchemist Zlata crafts 20 and gets 40g minus 5% at once. Another alchemist crafts the other 40. Shyrok gets two letters with potions and his deposit back.

FAQ

  • Can a crafter take my order and vanish? No. There are no reservations: an order stays open until someone actually crafts it with one click.
  • What if two crafters press “Craft” at the same moment? Only one craft happens. The other sees “already fulfilled” and loses nothing — neither reagents nor daily limits.
  • My bag is full — will the item be lost? No. Everything from the Desk arrives by mail, and Desk letters never expire.
  • Why can I not set a price of 1 copper for ore? The lower bound protects newcomers from selling for nothing; the upper bound stops gold transfers.
  • Why does the payment say “arrives within a day”? Large payments, linked accounts or too much personal-order turnover in a day are paid after a review. The item itself arrives at once.
  • Do I level my profession through orders? Yes — exactly like normal crafting.

_The numbers are the world defaults; the current ones are always in the Order Desk window (“? How it works”)._
