Zarhold's First PvP Tournament: Lev is champion — card MMORPG tournament results

On 31 October 2026 Zarhold held its First PvP Tournament — and the world got its first champion. Sixteen entries, one-on-one duels at level 60, a double bracket, a Game Master judge and spectators at every bout: this is what an MMORPG tournament looks like when it is played live rather than on a spreadsheet. Format: level 60 duels in a double bracket

The first tournament of the card MMORPG Zarhold was 1v1 duels, level 60 only. There were 16 entries, pairs were drawn at random, and from then on everything came down to decks, hands and nerve:

• two brackets: lose in the upper bracket and you drop to the lower one; lose in the lower bracket and you are out;
• the upper bracket is first to 3 wins, the lower bracket first to 2, the final first to 3;
• the finalist from the upper bracket starts 1:0 — a reward for never having lost;
• every match was run by a Game Master judge, who called the fighters, started the bout once both pressed "Ready" and recorded the result.

A double bracket forgives one mistake: even after losing a series, a fighter stays in the tournament and can fight their way to the final through the lower bracket. The rules and how a tournament works are covered in “MMORPG tournaments”.

Prizes

• 1st place, Lev — 5,000 coins, the living Champion's Crown frame and the unique title Champion of the First Tournament — the only one in Zarhold, forever;
• 2nd place, Heich — 3,000 coins, the Tournament Silver frame and the title 2nd Place of the First PvP Tournament;
• 3rd place, RELICT — 1,000 coins, the Tournament Bronze frame and the title 3rd Place of the First PvP Tournament;
• 4th place, МастерКэт — 500 coins, the Steel Honour frame and the title Fighter of the First PvP Tournament;
• 5th place, GEVORG, and every fighter in the bracket — the Fighter's Ring frame and the title Participant of the First Tournament.

Coins go to the balance of your account on the website, frames to the hero's appearance and titles to the hero. Tournament frames and titles aren't sold — they can only be earned.

The judge, the spectators and the Battle Chronicles

A PvP tournament in Zarhold is a live event, not a results table:

• only the judge saw both fighters' hands — nobody could give hints;
• any player could open a match with the Watch the bout button in the bout card in the chat and follow it live;
• after the bout, spectators got the Bout replay with cards with both hands open;
• every bout of the tournament is saved in the Battle Chronicles — you can rewatch the final at any time.
