v0.9.694
Weapons, consumables and honest tooltips
Equal hands and Titan Grip; consumables as written and a new balance; legendary forging; return to a fight from any device; honest tooltips.
• Hands are equal for everyone: a two-handed weapon equals a one-hander with a shield, tome, orb or second one-hander. The off hand now gives full stats, and a two-hander twice a one-hander. All weapons you already own were recalculated — no item got weaker.
• Warrior Fury: the new Titan Grip talent in the last row — two two-handers, each at full strength. Without it nobody can wield a second two-hander.
• Enchants and sharpening on a two-handed weapon take one scroll or kit and the bonus is doubled (the tooltip says ×2 — two-handed weapon). Enchants already on two-handers were doubled for free.
• Weapon proficiency works as in the classic: every class wields what it should. Ranged weapons and their icons follow the class. Residents who fight with two weapons got their second one.
• Honor shop: an off-hand costs the same as a one-hander and a two-hander twice as much, by strength. Earlier purchases are unchanged.
• Consumables work as written: a flask lasts until the end of the fight and cannot be removed by EMP or a cleanse; Elixir of Fortitude lasts 3 enemy turns; EMP no longer resets once-per-fight items.
• Food: Well Fed now gives a percent bonus to Health and Power — the best meal gives +6% Health and +4% Power. Higher-tier bombs now hit noticeably harder than lower ones.
• Mana potions and cells are now their own mana kind and overlays are devices, so they no longer compete with a flask. Haste Cell gives a crystal and a card, Overload Cell +3 crystals with an overload. Elixir of Vitality gives +10% max Health until the end of the fight.
• Boss atlas: level 60 bosses now show What helps — which grenade counters the main mechanic.
• Legendary forging: it needs a rare reagent from a boss, you can forge once a week, and a forged legendary is personal right away.
• Kicked out of a fight in an expedition? Come back within 5 minutes, even from another device, and the fight continues (on another device — from the end of the last turn).
• Fighting a level 60 boss: the log and the shield tooltip explain why a boss hit eats the whole shield. Effect tooltips show percents and turns with talents and sets included.
• Effects are named after the cards that apply them. After gathering or skinning the game says whether your skill grew; a carcass above your skill gives a point too. Gathered nodes show in how many minutes they return. Zone bosses in achievements are now land warlords.
• Please refresh the game so fights use the new rules.
