Raids, heroic, residents, boss loot

Raid and world boss loot now resets per boss, once a day; residents on runs wear run gear; the toughest raid bosses are softer.

• Raids and world bosses: loot now resets per boss, once a day. Slay a boss and its loot comes back 24 hours later, while the raid’s other bosses keep their loot: if your group breaks up after the first boss, the second boss and onward are yours again with another group that evening. Minion waves always drop loot. Run XP and gold come for each boss that still has loot for you. Normal and heroic have separate timers. Before entering, in the Ready window and during the run you can see which bosses you’ve already looted and when they reset; in the loot roll, «helping» now shows the reason and the time. • Residents who join you in dungeons, raids and world boss fights now wear run gear: Hardiness instead of Resilience, and around item level 220 at level 60. Inspecting a resident in your party shows exactly that gear. In the arena, battlegrounds and duels residents keep their PvP gear. Boss strength in runs with level 60 residents is adjusted to their new gear. • Raids: the eight toughest normal-difficulty bosses — Golemagg, the Rift, Chromatus, Venassa, Kavramma, Burum, Scarabor and Vixna — are now softer, so a well-drilled party of five in raid gear can beat them. Onyxara in the Lair of the Black Queen, on the other hand, is now sturdier. • Heroic mode: the longest boss fights are now shorter, with less Health but harder hits; the easiest heroic bosses are now more dangerous. • Runs with residents: the resident tank is sturdier and raises a shield in time. Boss strength in dungeons with residents is tuned for each place, now below level 30 as well. A raid alone with four residents is now harder: the more live players in the party, the easier.
