Our own smileys, stickers, reactions and battle emotes
Our own smileys and stickers in chat, message reactions, battle emotes, profanity hidden with asterisks, full-height look on the hero sheet.
• Zarhold’s own smileys — 36 pictures instead of system emoji: faces of every race, potions, gold, a skull, “GG”. In chat use the smiley button or type a code after a colon: “:gg” brings up hints. Old smileys in earlier messages now show as the new pictures too.
• Stickers in chat — a big picture as its own message. Free for everyone: the “Basic” pack (12), your guild’s banner, your own class pack once a hero of that class reaches level 20 (for the whole account), and trophy stickers for the first kill of a raid’s final boss and world bosses. In “World” — at most one sticker every 15 seconds; identical ones in a row stack into “×3”. In Settings: “Stickers in chat — large / small / hide”.
• Message reactions: hover a message (tap it on a phone) — six smileys. The count shows under the message, yours is highlighted in gold, press again to remove it. Works in “World”, “Trade”, guild and party chat.
• Battle emotes: a button by your hero’s portrait — “Hello!”, “Good game!”, “Thanks”, “Oops…”, “Charge!”, “Ha-ha!” in a bubble over the portrait. In duels, arena, battlegrounds, group runs and refereed duels, live opponents and allies see them. 10-second cooldown, at most three in a row; 🔇 mutes the opponent until the fight ends; in Settings — “Opponents’ emotes in battle”. Emotes never affect the outcome.
• Chat: profanity in players’ messages is now hidden with asterisks — in chat, whispers, “@”, letters and Herald announcements. You can turn it off in Settings → Chat → “Hide profanity”. Name checks for new heroes and guilds are stricter: tricks with spaces and Latin letters no longer get through.
• Full-height look: the large portrait on the hero sheet, in the Armory and in the Hero window during a run now shows your Collection look full height; live looks stay live.
• Tournament fights now take place on live battlefields: a storm, a volcano, a tiltyard, a northern fortress, a desert colosseum. In Settings — “Live battlefields: auto / always / off”; “auto” shows a still picture on weaker devices and in light mode.
