v0.9.715

Dungeon Atlas, wings and the combat log

New Dungeons screen — the Atlas, wings for long places, runs continue on any device, a damage meter in every fight, sturdier resident tanks, Mentor mode, a Watchlist tab at the Auction House.

• Dungeons have a new look — the Atlas: a list of places on the left with search by place, boss or item, and on the right a page for the place with its art, bosses, their abilities and real loot icons. Hover an item for its tooltip, tap it for its card. Tabs “How to beat” and “About the place”. • Long places are split into wings: Blackforge Depths into three; the School of Dark Magic, Fallen Stratholme and the Molten Core into two. You can clear one wing at a time or the whole place as before (on Heroic — wing by wing). Rewards are counted per wing: clearing a wing and then the whole place won’t give the loot twice. • Your run is no longer lost: the server keeps it until you finish or abandon it (up to 7 days). Started on your phone — continue on your computer: Dungeons will show “Continue the run”. • The ☰ combat panel is the same everywhere: Damage, Heal and Log now also work in live groups, raids, duels, and in group arena and battleground fights. • Resident tanks are sturdier: their armour is no longer cut down, and in combat they have their racial ability and a bandage of their level. A live tank with residents in the party now truly holds bosses. • Invite a Friend is simpler: every counted friend is a step up the trophy ladder — the Herald of Zarhold frame, a card back, the living pet Herald, the Winged Herald mount, a living frame and avatar, a living battlefield and titles. Trophies arrive on their own and are never sold. Your friend right away gets a frame, the Goldhorn mount and two Wanderer’s Bags. • New Mentor mode: if you are above a place’s level and your invited friend is in your group, you can enter as a mentor — your strength becomes that of a hero at the top level of that place. Mentors get no experience or loot, but earn Patron Marks for every boss (up to 100 a day); your friend gets full experience and +20% from Bonds of Brotherhood. • Auction House: a new Watchlist tab. Mark a material, herb, potion or other stackable item and the price you’re willing to pay — the game tells you when it shows up at that price or cheaper. • PvP items from the Honor and Valor vendors and arena rewards are bound to the hero right away and can’t be listed on the Auction House. • Sound on phones no longer crackles or clicks: music and voice fade in and out smoothly. • Class and ability descriptions now match combat: promises of pets, stealth and forms that don’t exist in fights are gone.
