Zarhold is a free card MMORPG in English and Russian: switch the language in a click, meet players from both communities and play in your browser for free.

A good MMORPG isn’t just combat and dungeons — it’s the people around you. That’s why language matters so much: a chat where people understand you, guides you don’t have to translate, and support you can write to in your own language.

Zarhold is a game that lives in two languages at once — English and Russian. Below: what that means for you as a player, what to look for in any “multilingual” MMORPG, and how it works in Zarhold.

What “an MMORPG in your language” really means

“Translated” and “made for your language” are different things. Check a game against this list:

  1. Interface and text. Is everything translated — quests, abilities, tips — or just the menus?
  2. Community. Is there a chat, guilds and a forum in your language — people you’ll actually raid with?
  3. Guides and a knowledge base. Without them you end up translating other people’s articles.
  4. Support. Can you write in your language and get an answer?
  5. Mixed communities. If the game has players from different countries, can you find your own crowd?

Zarhold: one world, two languages

Zarhold is a free card MMORPG in your browser. Here’s how it handles language:

  • Fully in English and Russian. Quests, ability cards, tips and mail are all translated. The interface language switches instantly in the settings — Russian or English.
  • A website in both languages. zarhold.com/en for players around the world and ru.zarhold.com for Russia and the CIS — with the same news, guides and knowledge base.
  • One world. Players from both communities meet in the same world: in the arena, in dungeons, on the auction house.
  • VK Play. Zarhold is also on VK Play, where you log in with your VK Play account.
  • Free to play. The game is free in your browser, and Shop purchases are optional.

What kind of game Zarhold is

In short, a classic MMORPG where your hero’s abilities are cards:

  • 10 classes and 11 races across three factions, levels 1 to 60, talents and two specialisations;
  • 26 lands full of quests, 23 dungeons for three, 6 raids and 3 world bosses for five;
  • PvP: a 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 arena, a battleground and duels;
  • 12 professions, an auction house, mail and trading between players;
  • guilds and friends, and empty group slots are filled by residents of the world — so you can play solo too.

You can play on a computer, tablet or phone — your hero is the same on every device. And you can start without signing up: “Play without signing up” takes you straight to creating a hero. The full tour is in the Zarhold review.
